I am sitting here in the waiting room and see all the different cultures and faces in this fertility clinic. It takes over an hour to drive here. Luckily I work 25 mins away from here. I left work today to meet the doctor who will help in pregnant us with a second child. I hope it will just be one and not multiples, then again there is a risk of that. It's stated as a fact that this procedure IUI is a 25% chance of becoming pregnant. If It happened for me the first time around with my daughter then I am hopeful that it will work again.
There is silence in this room and all you can hear is the TV playing the movie The sisterhood of the traveling pants. There are couples that sit together but they seem alone and in deep thought. I know what they are thinking, because I too was there 4 years ago.
I found it fascinating that I pulled this card out this morning as my daily reading. I usually sit in my car, parked at my works parking lot and pull a card for the day. "What will today bring or what do I have to learn today?" is usually how it goes.
This card means family, happiness, health relationship, true love, joy, you are loved, great support from a loved one. It was perfect because it confirmed for me that this is the right thing to do. I had my doubts because I know how painful the process of a fertility treatment is; not only physical but emotion too.
